I have been hanging onto this motor to use in another project car but it probably isn't going to happen. Engine came in my 65 Valiant wagon installed with a motor plate. Engine ran great and car was stupid fast. Idled great. Oil was clean. No weird noises. 906 heads I believe. Holley street dominator intake. I don't know anything else about it other than that. Asking $800. Located in S.E. Michigan south of Ypsilanti. PM me if interested. Thanks FABO for the ad.

Is there any other information about your 400? How did it idle? Was it a track or street car. How was it driven.
 
It has a nice rumpity rump idle to it so I'm sure it has a cam in it. I bought the car from a used car dealer. It was someone's toy at one time. Stripped out interior, stall convertor, full manual reverse valve body 727 with a 3.91 gear. May have been a Saturday night burnout at the local tastee freeze car. Not sure. I was going to replace head gaskets and valve seals like I do all of my used motors and run it as is. I have to many project cars and no time to work on them. Only reason I'm selling it.
