it is a 230 casting BUT NOT THE COLD WEATHER BLOCK. 440 source says not all 230's were CWBlocks. this block has been hot tanked, magnafluxed and all the threaded holes have had the craftsman thread cleaner run down them. block has not been sonic checked. all freeze plugs and galley plugs and cam brgs have been removed.
