[SOLD] 408 Magnum Shortblock

Low miles 408 shortblock. Magnum block, and Scat 408 balanced rotating assembly. Pump gas friendly Icon .030" over 745 pistons, Scat rods w/ ARP rod bolts and Scat crank. Also has brass core plugs and ARP main studs. Comes with low miles melling HV pump. Perfect for a budget 408 build.

There are a few scuffs on the crankshaft snout, but a balancer slides on just fine. Refer to last photo.

$1300 for local pick up in West Sacramento, California and I'll even throw in the engine stand.

I got it as part of a parts haul recently and don't have a need for it. Sucks because I just started a 408 build several months ago. Had I waited a few months, I'd be building this up.

#1 Main and rod bearings and corresponding crank journals. Rod bearing shows a little wear, but nothing I can feel.

Correct. That's also the reason I'm not asking a premium for it. Although the overall condition seems to corroborate what he told me.
