69 Dart, mostly used as a street car (3-4 trips to track a summer at most) this is what I want from it. 11.30-40s at 120mph on 93 octane.
What I'll be using, or prefer to be using:
LA block, 408 stroker.
10.5 compression.
Edelbrock aluminum heads(?).
Air gap intake.
Roller cam(?).
F.A.S.T. TB injection system.
TTI headers.
3.73/3.91s at most (decent size tire most likely).
Cal Trac rear susp.
I'm looking for suggestions on cam, exactly how much head work to have done (if any) and roughly what converter? Also what impact will TB injection play in choosing cam and set up of heads?
