Does anyone have suggestions on base timing for this combination or what springs to use for the mechanical advance, dist has no vacuum advance by the way, also what stop bushing are you guys using with these. I am running the mopar performance " .509 " cam with a set of rhoades original lifters. Also do you guys know what kind of timing lights work best with msd igniton boxes?

Start with about 15 degrees intitial timing and you'll want no more than 34 degrees total. You should get instructions with it and they will show you the different advance curves that you can set your distributor to. Any kind of timing light will work with a MSD. I like the dial back models myself.
