426/360 stroker

Are most 360 block blocks able to take the bore needed to do this combo? any body done one?:happy1:

necessary bore size for this displacement depends on the stroke of the used crankshaft. There are some different strokes available, 4.00, 4.10, 4.125, 4.25 as far as i know. Check out hughes engines website, i know they sell a 426 kit with bigger than 4.0" stroke - 426 cui should be possible with 4.030" bore size.

What he said most 426 small builds get the cubes from the stroke not the bore.

thanks i was worried that i might have to hunt a hard to find 360 block
