Helping out a friend, He had these sitting on his shelf and is getting out of the big block game.
IRON 440-1 Indy heads. Nice port job, these have 15, 1/4 mile passes on them. 2.19 intake valve, 1.81 exhaust valve. K- 950 springs, TI retainers. They pushed a 3000lb car to 9.40’s on muscle with a low deck 499ci. He needs to move these, $1750 plus shipping! OBO! Pm for shipping ideals, fastnal will do pattle shipping for $150 in the lower 48.

Well i guess they are then. Lol i also have a 4500 flange Indy intake manifold for a RB block ill throw in for the deal, $1500 plus shipping.

Sorry raised ports won’t fit my a body without hacking up my fenders for fender wells. I don’t need to go fast enough to cut my car. Thanks though.

You should find some puller guys who are required to run cast iron. This is the best iron head ever made for the BBM, and they are no longer available. S/F....Ken M

I have raised port victor type heads in my 68 fastback. No hacking of the fenders w/ exception of the plug access hole on #6 plug, and relocating the heater completely. They sure don`t look raised , compared to mine .

Heres the spec sgeet right from the indy website. The 440-C is an iron verson of the 440-1. Both have raised exhaust ports..... Now someone please buy this stuff! Lol
