The plate that protects the back of the block in case of a clutch explosion. It goes between the engine block and the lakewood bellhousing. Sometimes called a block saver They do work as I had a clutch-flywheel let go on a SSS/A Cuda many years ago, and caused very little damage, to only, the rear of the right head. Nothing else.
