440 duster with fenderwell headers question

Hello,

I have 1971 duster with a 440. It has the hooker fenderwell headers. Has anyone had any issues with the driver side header heating up the master cylinder. The header comes really close and they run hott! Im afraid that might casue a problem.

The headers are not ceramic coated.

i believe i have seen shields that bolt up to the master, to remedy this problem. but depending on how "close" close is, yes it could be a problem depending on the brake fluid u are running.

Put a heat sheld on it.

I wrapped my header tube with that heat shield stuff. Master is cool to the touch.
