I'll venture a guess as it probably came off a 68-69 Road Runner.

Definitely NOT a 68-69 RR or GTX.
I'm almost positive it's off a 70 RR or GTX. Remember they had a power bulge hood and that emblem was right at the end of the "scoop" near the cowl. The driver and passenger could see it from the front seat because it faced them but you couldn't see it from the side or front of the car at all.
