I guess this is the place I should have posted my thread originally. What I Would like to do is rebuild a mild 440 to get 375-400hp out of it and then put it into a 74' Scamp. I am potentially going to buy the car next weekend. It has been garage parked for many years and was always an "indoor" car. The info from the lady who inherited it from her Aunt says that they were original owners, no accidents and no rust. The at is running currently has a slant 6. She is asking $4000 CAD. Does this sound reasonable? Thanks for any input in advance.
