440 into barracuda 69

I am wondering if a 440 1976 would fit under hood without cutting it. of its a barracuda 69
It has a edelbrock performer intake 2191 edelbrock carb and filter. I dont want to cut the hood

I hope so... that is what I am in the middle of doing to mine! I have not heard that you need to cut up the hood.... I would imagine if you did, it would be mentioned in all of the threads about putting a 440 in an a-body.

The factory made a limited edition of 440 Darts in 69. It should fit.
