ok I have a 440 out of an RV. It is a 67 block with 413 heads. Everything else is stock. What would be the best cam for making a mild street motor out of this. What kind of HP can I expect out of the motor how it is with the 413 heads and a 4 bbl carb? Any info on what would be a good combo would be great. Thanks guys

Any engine can be made to any level with any budget. Narrow down what you want out of it, and realistically what you want to spend. (and Cheapest doesnt fly....lol)

My pops used a 18,000mile 413 from a motorhome for his twin turbo dream... It is finally finished. The 413used the orig. pistons that looked like soup bowls! Compression is somewhere around 7.5 to 1 with the 906 heads. Perfect for his twin 67mm Garret turbos. We did a desktop dyno on this combo and it produced 1100hp@20lbs boost. Don't laff at me yet! It has a custom grind cam, M1 intake, heads have been worked over. 850cfm blow thru carb and a intercooler from a Furd truck. Turbos are mntd to hooker fenderwell headers. had to do a little work in the cowl to allow room for the turbos. He only has around $6000 in the build of this setup. Turbos and the intercooler are used..

Anyhow,
cam, headers, intake and carb will get ya 100hp over stock. Around $1000 to $1500 for these bolts-ons..

Down here everyone is going to turbo engines. Easier on the engine parts than N20...
