Same rods.They used up the leftovers in Highway patrol and h.p. motors.Before cheap china stuff came along,these were the s#$t.Heavy weights supposedly make them obsolete.They don't brake,seen em with 350 spray hits on a Maxie 440 E body 4 spd.(E.T. 11.31,trap speed 134)
 
Are they freshly machined and ready to go? Resized shot peened and straight etc?
 
Needsa,no shotpeen work,as far as I can tell.Too open on the pores,usually shot closes em up.
 
Just bought a police motor looks to be low miles these came out just cleaned them up with a towel Haven't done anything else to them
 
These rods don't really need to be shotpeened.Help yes,not truly necessary. under 500 ponies.
