Had anyone built this model? I was thinking that it would make a great Christmas gift for my son.
I was wondering how it compares to the Revell.

The Revell model looks like some generic engine similar to a small block Chevrolet.
Why not built the one that actually looks like our stuff?
Mopar for the win, man!

I bought the 440 model. Short answer, its garbage. And its small compared to the Revell model. I was very disappointed and sent it back on my dime. Heads were extremely warped just for starters

many years ago I picked up the generic chevy one. (the old version)
the clear is very brittle, and they used nuts and bolts to assembly
aka easy to crack

it took alot of detail effort to make it spin
got to keep the friction down, super finish parts.

the old version had a motor to spin it and plugs w/ bulbs ithat fired
unsure of the fit and finish of the new version,
but generally a cool way to teach what was in a motor
