I have a 70 block .030 Trw replacement pistons,68 steel crank,906 heads (stock),509 cam,eddy polished Torquer 2,Holley 870 street avenger that has no choke,Mopar distributor,spark plugs,wires,6 quart oil pan.Stock dampner.The paint is wearing off the block.1,700 bucks
I'm keeping the Alt,valve covers,air cleaner,pulleys,waterpump and housing,and brackets.
The engine runs and has been banging out around 4800.I've narrowed it to the MSD box or the Valve springs.I just replaced the pick up,reluctor,cap and rotor,and plugs.I played with the carb.I use Royal purple oil and it don't use any.I have never taking it to the track.I bough this car with the engine in it and am being honest about what I know about it.Im use to way faster car so it seams slow.It might run a low 8 or a high 7 in the 1/8th
I live in between Cleburne and Joshua Tx. If anyone wants to come buy and look at it.I'm not going to pull the engine till I sell it.I guess I'll try to find someone with a msd box to narrow it to the springs
