45* oil filter adapter

i purchased an adapter for my 6.1 and went to install it. I am not wanting to hurt anything. The instructions cover 5.7 and 6.4, and the threaded tube the filter attaches to has hex head built into it, the 6.1 does not.

I got this kit from Bouchillon and they are closed until Monday or I would just call them.

Before. Do something stupid, has anyone here done this?

I believe the hex is built into the inside of it, no?

The 6.1 has no hex head, the 5.7 and 6.4 do. Vice grips and a hammer and I was victorious.
