we put together a 451 stroker motor using a 400 block K&B piston 440 rods and a cast 440 crank, I have come across 2 other motors a 413 with a steel crank and a 440 with a k&B stroker crank and Hemi rods, (bummer K&B crank has a hair line crack at the snout) I was wondering should I change the cast crank for the steel crank and can I use the Hemi rods in the 451 stroker, Thanks for any help

Not sure what you're looking for, but i would use the stl crank because i would be adding in all kinds of additional hp, and i would use the 400rod, or a aftermarket rod on the shorter length

Haveing been a Stk, SS racer, all with big block Mopars, I can tell you that a properly prepped cast crank will work up to 7000 Rpm, w/correct mains, up to approx 550 Hp ! Your still better off w/steel crank ! I have done both ! Why waste your money setting up a cast crank, when you can do it right the first time ! Just my opinion !.........John:!:
