46RE Transmission

Just wanted to Thank everyone that replied to my previous posts. I finally put the transmission back together and back in the truck. I’m ashamed of what the problem was but chalk it up as a hard learned lesson. The round ring that holds the sun gear in was not completely in . I took a screwdriver and hammer tapped it in and it allowed the sun gear to be flush. Transmission is working perfectly now.

Glad you got it fixed...

As far as "Ashamed of what" Screw that!! You got in there & got it done... Most would never try.... Having the balls to try is 80% of the battle....

Might make you feel dumb what the problem ended up being but I'm sure you would've felt dumber if you took it to a shop and they were the ones that found the problem... and charged you to fix it!
