48 years ago today....

In the summer of 1970 our family went up to the U.P. of Michigan and Sault Ste. Marie area for our summer vacation, and while there we took one of those excursion boats though the locks. I was only 5 at the time, but I can still distinctly remember the HUGE (to me) ship that we locked-through with. Thankfully we took some pictures....

5 years later, that same ship that had made such an impression on me....Gone.
