can you put a 5.2 mag cam in a 5.9 mag engine without having to tune or program the ecu or valve springs i think the 5.2 cam is diff specs for sure and i think better performance

Shouldn't have any issues with the tune. I had my stock 5.2 cam measured. It was 196 in 210 ex @.050 with .432 lift. wide lobe separation at 117. To be honest the original R/T cam that Mopar put out is a nice upgrade for the 360 and it's not aggresive enough to need a tune. 204/208 with .458 lift and 114 lobe separation. I have that cam in my 5.2L in my dakota and it works quite well.

the R/T cam is the perf. aftermarket cam right...and that one doesnt need a tune either?

Mopar offered it separate or in a package. I think Crane makes it now. Mine runs fine on the stock tune although I use the hypertech tune with the truck. There is enough room in the stock tune for that cam.
