Can a 5.2 Magnum crank, rods, and pistons be used in an older 318 LA block?

Was thinking this would be a cheap way to bump up compression in a 318. I think I remember reading something about the rear main seal being different, though- one piece on Magnums? Can the Magnum type seal be adapted to the LA block?

Thanks.

The crankshaft being designed for a one piece seal will stop it from happening. Other than that, it would bolt in, but why would you do it if you could?

The Magnum blocks have a shorter deck height. I am not sure if the pistons have a shorter compression height or not, but if they do, putting all that in an LA block would lower compression significantly.

All moot points since it cannot be done.
