5.7 hemi in a Dart?

I have the opportunity to stick a 5.7 hemi in my Dart. Anybody done it? If so how much trouble? I'm considering purchasing a friend's totalled 2004 Ram. Drivetrain is in tact, cranks and drives.

TTI has headers and engine mounts for that swap. (67 to 76 A body)

How does this Hemi bolt up to the old a-body automatics? Problems? 904? 727?

Sounds really intrigueing, BUT........................

The 5.7 hemi is supposed to have the polt pattern as the LA for the trans, for that matter so is the V10

Yes they bolt up to 727 or 833, if you have lots of bucks go with a Keisler 5sp.

I am pretty sure you need to include all the emissin controls and computer control stuff to be legal for the street, but would be an awsome swap, just look into your local laws before you spend the big bucks. Of course if it's for race only then the gloves are off and you can go for broke! Definatly keep us all posted.

Mopar action had a feature on a Satallite that had one a 6.1 tho. it needs to have the hole computer system and if you want the alterktion kit of rms performance has an option for 5.7/6.1 engine mounts so it works out alright.
