I'm edging closer and closer to buying a 5.7 Hemi. Probably only looking at engine. Been looking on ebay for a long while, but not sure what I should be paying as prices seem to vary.

What is a reasonable price for a running

5.7 truck engine

5.7 MDS engine

Say both come with accessories.....

Also on a related note are the SRT 6.1L cars the only ones that come with the 0-60mph feature on the dash, or do 5.7L cars have this too?

You can get a new engine from chrysler at a dealer for about $3500, but thats no a/c or alternator or wiring harness stuff. If you got connections, like a family discount, then some more off that price. I think you might need a vin number off a ram though. Used ones $1500 for high miles and $3500 for low to medium, I wouldnt pay over $3500 for a used 5.7 hemi. The truck hemis are cheapest and easiest to intal, the car hemis are more in price. 6.1s are another story.
