Does anybody know what/if there are any differences between the different years and the pistons. Ex: i am wanting to replace a piston in a 01 5.9 . Can i use a piston from 97 ,or did they change them every so often. I read someplace that 2000 or 99 they lowered the compression to solve detonation issues. I wonder if this was done with pistons ,gaskets,or some other means
