5 speed to a slant 6?

anyone got info or experience on backing a slant 6 with a 5 speed tranny? what to use? Dakota? any specific years work better? clutch install issues?

T-5 behind a modified slant bellhousing. Do a search over on slantsix.org for "T-5". Several guys using this combo.

"sandyinbc" did a writeup on a 5 speed on slantsix.org a few years back. His was not a t5 swap, but there is much t5 documentation and plenty of aftermarket parts support for the t5.

The R154 out of a turbo Supra can be made to work as well. Never got mine on the road, but I have no reason to believe it was impossible.

That said, I think the T5 is the better option.
