I have seen it stated a few times that the 545RFE has been controlled by an early jeep or dakota/ durango TCM but never any documentations on what it actually needs to work. Does anyone have any experience with this?
What extra inputs does the TCU need. Im only seeing tps and crank position signal for certain but the Torque Power Management wire is throwing me for a loop.

There is also a SCI transmit wire but I suspect it is only an output.

If it is anything like the 41te in my Sebring the Torqe management is use to soften the shifts. I disconnected it in the Sebring quite a few years ago which acted like a shift kit making the trans snap into each gear instead of soft shifting
