5x4" or 5x100mm

just wondering if these sizes are close enough to use the 5x100mm. The selection of 5x100 is greater than the 5x4's, especially when your looking at 17 and 18's
 
I don't know exactly how much difference there is but if the difference is a fraction of a few hairs thickness or something i am sure you could get away with running hub centric lug nuts.

but like was said already, they are different for a reason.

if your looking for a larger wheel selection but don't want to go through the expense of converting your bolt pattern over to LBP. you could always run adapters that go from SBP to LBP.....which would give you a massive wheel selection.
 
5x4" = 5x101.6 mm

The difference is a little over .060"
 
the 5 x100mm is only good for yard roller stock-- anything driven will be a problem. Lawrence
