6.90 1/8 mile

-
I've gone 10.9s running 6.9xx 1/8s many times, so a 6.91 should easily put you there if your tune is on.

It really depends on the car. The 1/8 to 1/4 mile conversion calculators I've found aren't accurate. 6.40 is supposed to be 10.00 flat but my car runs 10.20's at that 1/8 mile time.

high 10.90's to 11.00's sounds pretty close though.

6.91 @ 95 is a lot different than 6.91 @ 100...

It should put you close to a 10.9x-11.05 range.

the mph was 98, that was sat. about 11:00 am, so it was already hot. My car is supercharged so I can't wait till I run it again at nite with cooll air

I just went over my time slips & log book for my duster from 4 yrs. ago, with crappy 1.58-1.61 60fts, i've run 7.0s & high 10.9s a bunch of times with MPHs around 97-98 in the 1/8 & 122-123 1/4, so you definitly have a 10 second car with a 6.91 1/8

we've always used 1/8th time multiplied by 1.56, turns out kinda close when i've used it,

6.90 x 1.56 = 10.76

of course dependent on how the car is setup, this may not work for you, ive just gotten lucky using it as a rough estimate

Calculators dont work for my Slant 6 car.I have gotten a 1.50 60ft and a 7.24 in the 1/8th, leaf spring car.Has run high 11s,hopeing for 11.60s.Calculator says 11.29 and I know thats not possible with my all motor car.11.81 is the record I am going after.Guzzi Mark

All motor /6, running high 11's that is absolutely awesome. That sounds like a car that would make some serious money at the track

Wouldn't the rear gear be a huge factor in that question? I would think my 1/8th would be awesome with a 4.56+ gear and slicks. Are you asking what you would run with a gear change? Forgive my ignorance.

Yes,I am running 4.56s and 26 inch slicks at the 1/8th track. Will be going to 28 inch tires when I go back to the 1/4.At Vegas I ran the 26s and did a 11.97 at 110 going tru the traps at 6600 rpm,a lttle too high for my comfort.Guzzi Mark

this is true, i had a quick change rear end with somewhere around a 5.80-6.00 gear and used all three rears in the 1/8th. people were scratching there heads wondering how i was doing this lol.
