/6 disc brakes swap to v8 dart

I have the opportunity to pick up a set of big bolt pattern disc brakes from a 71 duster donor car. The front end is complete and in good shape. Disc brakes , spindles, upper & lower a-arms, brake lines, master cylinder, prop. Valve and all the lines from a duster w/ a slant six.

Is there any differance between bbp disc brakes from a slant six or a v8 car? Does a v8 car have better brakes? I know that the brake lines are probably different but what about the rest? Will the whole set up bolt up to my 67 dart w/ a v8 with out any modifications? Waiting to see what you guys say before i go pull the stuff off the car. Thanks for your help.

same disk brakes, grab everything including upper control arms
if you have a small bolt rear in your car you may want to grab the matching big bolt rear

A 71 Duster will have small bolt pattern discs unless somebody has swapped on a set of later big bolt pattern brakes.

check if they are single or four piston calipers, either way they are worth getting

Agreed, either one is worth grabbing.

Single piston will be Large bolt pattern, 4 piston will be small bolt pattern.
