i apologize if this thread is duplicated - i tried posting earlier but for some reason it never came through.
i am ready to pull the /6 engine and trans from the 67 dart GT and swap in the 318 eng/trans from the 76 swinger.
the 67 is an auto with floor shift, push button trans. the 76 was a column shift auto.
i am not sure if i need to remove the cable and linkage from the /6 trans and attach those to the 318 tranny. or do i pull the whole cable and linkage off at the shifter and use whatever i have for the 318? if so, do i need any extra / new parts like a longer/shorter cable or anything with the linkage?
