slant 6 to 318 trans swap

I have a 904 trans from a 69 coronet that I am trying to install into my 72 duster with a swap from slant 6 to 318. The crossmember that holds the tail of the trans does not match up with the holes. It only matches with 2 out of four holes due to the larger trans and possibly the larger rubber mount. Does anyone know what I mean and how I can make this swap possible? Thanks for any help.

Use the tranny mount from the 6 cylinder tranny on the 8 cylinder tranny.
