I Was looking to purchase a crank for my project and have seen Mopar Performance cranks with the 8 bolt flange and was wondering if they can be used wth the stock 340 flywheel or flexplate.

Thanks

Purchase the crank with a 6 bolt flange. It is stock. This way you can purchase parts with ease to match it rather than race parts which would more likely be a heavier duty unit and cost more money than your willing to spend or what is actually needed to spend on.

I have seen a few used ones around and was wondering if they would work with my stock flywheel. Any idea if the stock flywheel can bolt on?

EIGHT bolt stuff is high dollar ...and not necessary under most conditions.

6 bolt stuff will NOT bolt up to 8 bolt crank , if you are using 4 speed u will need to purchase flywheel, if u are using auto , u will need to purchase flexplate.
Hope this helps.
