just broke in 318 re ring lunnatt1i 701 cam lifters double roller new fuel pump heads done fired rite up timming set runs great hard restart like not getting fuel no vac leaks did not try any adjustments on carb yet

hard restart is usually a few things. weak spark, timing is off, hot fuel/percolation , excessive fuel pressure/flooding/low float settings/mixture , or lack of fuel pressure. I know you set your timing, but where? it may not be where the engine wants it.

set at 10 degrees put new on new dist but old roter got carb used but never on car no instructions is there any thing to adjust choke it is electric seems to be pen how big fuel line it is dual feed used same line as had on 2 barrel5/16 looked at site glassfront is full rear is half ?

im betting that cam wants more timing. always time it first, but in this case , your float level should be half way into the site glass in both the front and rear. if the rear is full , the float is too high either from crap stuck in the needle valve/seat or a bad float. get the float level right and then go back to the timing. the fuel line size is fine.

I think you have the same carb I do, if so here is an instruction sheet for you to read.
