60's truck/van/taxi/cop car with a slant six...

Im looking for the adapter plate for a slant six with a 727 out of a 60's truck/van taxi or cop car. I will also need the crank adapter as well.

what adapter plate are you talking about???
my friend has a slant 727 from a van but it is out of the vehicle...

Go over to slantsix.org and do a search for adapter plate in the transmission section and all the info will come up.

Basicly they used a smallblock 727 with this adapter behind the slants in 67 and older trucks, vans, cop cars, and taxis. if you get this plate you can bolt a smallblock tranny up to a slant including a A500 or A518. :snakeman:

ok ... i have never seen that.
the trans i am talking about is for a slant six, so it is cast with the slant bell housing..
