63-66 headers

I am getting ready to buy headers for my valiant 360 project and have done all my reading on this forum and Keep Reading the Dougs Headers are the way to go over the TTI because of easiar fitment and cheaper price. Everyplace i look the Doug's are more expensive than the TTI. What am I missing?

They are all expensive. Just bought a decent coated set for 700. Was putting them in yesterday and all the slip joints were seized. Was a royal pain getting them separated.

I like the TTI I bought. I don't think any header is perfect unless you go custom built. I never liked a slip tube.

Dougs will clear a Mopar starter, classic or modern. TTI requires an oddball starter.

So are the Doug's Slip Joint and the TTI not? i didnt read any info on this subject yet.
