63 convertible questions

purchased basket case 63 dart convertible w/two top frames and noticed one is different from other in the mounting bracket area. is this the difference between manual/power or do i have two different year top frames? one is in good shape and the other is a rusted bad skeleton. i was thinking the only reason the guy before me had that rusted one would maybe be for the mounting bracket. i only have a 69' factory shop manual and it's no help. i have not tried as yet mounting it on the car as it has fresh paint and i already scratched it bad once and thought i would try this route first. i need some info on what's what so i can proceed better informed. information is power. thanks
