63 Dodge Dart, now let me see;)

OMG, what a wonderful upholstery place you go to!! Awesome!!!!
Glen, this in not the first thing that I've "lost", more like misplaced, or permanently misplaced, until I find it, then it a WONDERFUL MOMENT

My brother has an AI app called Grox, he changed the color of my dart from it~ darn, wish I had had the app before choosing a color:(

Now that’s a cool app !

The Dart looks good in red , ironically that’s what I had in mind for my ‘64 GT . It was beige with /6 auto .
If I kept it the plain was 360 auto disc brakes p/s air wheels tires 3.23 sure grip 8 1/4 or 8 3/4 battery in the trunk and fuel injection color change to a red and black interior .
I sold it and the next guy did most of that to it .

The new upholstery is really nice! This is the passenger side, the drivers side~ I need to work on the seat foam as someone in the past performed a foamectomy. In the Miata realm, when someone that's really tall needs more head room, they would cut the seat foam to allow them to sit lower. So, I found a used passenger side seat foam on Ebay that will fix the problem or I can use parts of it, but that won't be here for a few days:(
Before starting, I used my steamer to "plump" the old foam back up, works well.
Also I hope I don't have to work with the seat platforms, they're level and ready for testing with the new seats, well, when they're done.

Probably take tomorrow off or at least clean shop

Passenger side 99% finished, very comfortable and a good height, adjustment moves a great deal forward and back. I rarely sit on the passenger side seat

Looking good, perhaps a little steam work to smooth out the wrinkles . The mounts look great .

So that pesky bracket that was hiding has been found in the last place you looked
OR did you keep looking so you could say it wasn’t ? LOL

lol, Glen, at the time, I wasn't looking for it, and "POOF", there it was hanging on the wall a bit hidden~ I was engulfed with happiness

As for the seat wrinkles, I have a steamer, but I may just set them out in the 99 degree heat, worse comes to worse, pull it back apart and work it, I'd rather not. For some reason, these particular covers have that problem or it's just the installer.

I've covered about 8 or so sets of the miata na seats, much better outcome~ These went in various other projects

While waiting for seat stuff, I played around with the condenser, this is why I needed that pesky support and the condenser just clears by a 1/4". Now just need to order some fittings and hose to make this all work

the fitting in the picture is all I had laying around

At first glance of the four seats I thought you were going to put them in the Dart . All though it would be cool and perhaps solve the rear seat to widen tub problem.

The a/c condenser looks good there same for the line placement . It’s going to make them a short run to the compressor and drier .

It's nice to get this glass installed, it's been in a safe place since I started the project. It was a little demanding and with Gary's help, all is well. Also finished up the drivers seat upholstery. Tomorrow I should be able to start on the routing of the AC lines~ that should be very interesting

The glass will be a dark tint along with the other glass minus the front glass, should look very sexy

 Sorry Mike, waiting for AC parts, It's not quite as exciting right now~ however slaving in the shop heat, but got paint on the underside of the hood and trunk yesterday. Once the Ac hoses are connected in a few days, pull a vacuum, charge it(I have an AC machine), ck for leaks etc, then the dash can be put on.That will be nice;)

IT's always neat to pull a special tool from my special tools cabinet to do that special job. I bought this AC hose crimper a long time ago. Just didn't want to be dependent on having the sleeves crimped when I can do it myself. I have used it many times. Hopefully not the last time after this build. Still waiting on special AC fittings. This AC install was not store bought to just install you know~
hm, need to make dinner~

That's cool. Are there different size dies to crimp different hose sizes? That would be handy to have, plus save trips to someplace to get the fittings squeezed. In the pic, just to the right of the vice....those tools hanging on the end of the bench. Are those the ones you use on Gary's noggin when he hints about supper more than once? :poke:

mind you there's different types from cheap manual ones to hydraulic ones with prices all over the place A/C Hose Crimper for sale | eBay

In answer to your first question, yes, there are 4 dies (6, 8, 10 and 12)~ and I don't need to the hanging tools to bop him~ I figure when I need parts which we all know can tally up quite a large bill, I have to be nice all the time, but he never complains about the costs;)

I knew the answer about the noggin knockers before I asked....lol. You have a great sense of humor that sometimes encourages silly questions. :) Susan & I are the same way. She is a quilter, and is really good at it. I couldn't care less on what she spends on fabric and stuff...and she's the same way about my cars and parts. Our plan is, to run out of money right at the split second the line goes flat for the last one of us!
