Hi folks,

one question: is this the correct grille embleme for a 63 Valiant?
It says "PT 2276938 SN CAV 1" stamped on the backside of the outer ring.
On the inner V it says: "PT # 2276937 CAV 1

Thx in advance for your help!

It looks like the right one to me. Definitely not a '64 or '65 emblem, could potentially be a '62 Signet emblem -- would need to see the back of it. It's missing the paint; half the "V" should be red and half blue. Chrysler engine red and Chrysler engine blue work great.

Thx so far Dan, I appreciate the painting tips 8) . Here goes the backside:

This AM I snapped these two pics of a very clean '63 Valiant's grill and trunklid emblems (celphone-quality pics, sorry):

Thank you Dan!
Yes its the right one. I tried yesterday to mount on the grille and it fits 100%.
Is the embleme all chromed or does it have black paint or is it only shadowing in the photo (your first pic)?
