'63 Valiant V200 wagon - pushbutton automatic

The attached exploded diagram is for a manual shift transmission - there is no corresponding diagram for automatic in the parts manual.

At one time, there was some sort of grommet or seal at the end of the steering tube, inside the engine compartment. Mine is long gone. Does anyone have a picture and/or part number?

I've thought about finding a boot that fits both the steering tube and the steering rod, as in the second pic, but obviously not clamping to the latter.

your second pic appears to be a ball and trunion joint on a drive shaft.

Yes, I just included that pic as an example of a possible boot replacement. But the DMT part is what I need.
