Large primary carb from 1973 440 truck.
Throttle primary shafts have been rebushed with brass bushings.
All new gaskets from Walker kit, ethanol safe pump, new x-rings, new choke pull-off, passages all cleaned and blown out with air, etc. Bowl checked for flatness, fuel wells checked, floats are brass (one has been repaired but carefully checked so no leaks), etc. Also, the throttle linkage had been modified but the original piece has been welded back in place. Very smooth working carb.
This is a performance build based on study of old "demonsizzler" posts (noted TQ guru), and the old Mopar Performance "bible". Set up with 101/.149 jets, .035 nozzles. (these #'s were generally recommended for "hot 318" to mild performance big block.)
This carb was installed on my 340 and tested for one day to make sure everything worked well. Note: These are identical settings to the similar Thermoquad that I run on my 340, which gives me really good A/F #s all around.
