Can anyone tell me if 64 to 65 Valiant and Barracuda dash pads are interchangeable?

Yes they are the same for 64-66 maybe even 63 as well but I'm not sure on that one. The basic structure of the dash is the same .The hole for the instruments vary

My 64 Cuda has the 6 or 8" long indentation in the middle of the pad, I've seen some that are straight across, In fact I bought a plastic recap for mine that I had to return because it was straight across and I wasn't happy with the look of it. As far as interchangeability they are the same.
The Dart and Valiant/Cuda dash pads from 64-66 are dimensionally the same as well, but it's the Dart that doesn't have the indentation in the middle, or at best is different in that area than the Valiant/Cuda piece!

Working on my custom car parts again!
Cosig's right . I'm stripping some dash pads right now to compare the 2 types to see if I can duplicate them in ABS instead of metal and then foam/rubber coating to make new dash pads for my 2 darts and a friends 65 Barracuda. it's still in "lookin" at phase since I will have to duplicate the grain using sierra or colonial grain to match closer than the abs haircell pattern. And my glovebox and convertible only rear armrests are first and second in line dash pads are 3rd.
here is the main difference in the metal base of the pad, other than the beauty line in the plymouth which is molded in the foam and vinyl.
the dart(top non rusty one) doesn't have the ribs in it on the outer sections. I have seen plain ones on a valiant without the beauty lines in it but I'm pretty sure it had been recovered at some point in time. Most Valiants and barracudas that I have seen have dash pads that are the same type with the beauty lines in it. Dodge darts are all one type(recessed center) so far as I can tell.
the shape on the tips are different also.
and of course the "recess or dip" in the center section Plymouth VS the Dodge dart
