64-66 trunk vent covers

Is anyone repoping these rubber vent covers?? If not, any suggestions on treating the rubber to soften up and straighten out. (these beauties are not mine!)

I wonder if you could make them out of rubber matting? If you think those are beauties I shouldn't let you see mine. Other than a little overspray they are perfect.
