Does an 83/4 from a 67 and newer A Body directly bolt into a 64 A Body?
If you get an 8 3/4" from a 1970 and later car, the brake line distribution block was moved down onto the tube and requires a different line set, and probably a longer hose!! I ran into this on my build as have many others!! Also as Brad says above!!! Geof
The bone stock shaft in my convertible is 49 5/8" from the center of the rear cup to the center of the front cup of the u-joints!
Hooking on the very rear of the shaft itself, on the rounded area that makes up the u-joint cup, to the very front of the rounded edge that makes up the front u-joint cup is 51"!
Hope this helps, Geof
The cuda's had a 111" wheel base, that darts I believe had a 108" wheel base... someone double check my figures. Is the Dart longer than a Valiant and Barracuda being the floor is longer? Just asking being the OP did not state which 64 A body.
