I don't know what's up with , nobody has titles for these cars. Wondering if it's possible to get titles from the DMV how much BS to get one here in Fl

My police officer friend in Gray helped Roy (RIP) get a title on a 65 Valiant several years ago. I don't really know how he did it, but it was above board and all ended up well. It was Something Roy couldn't get done in Florida. I don't remember the details.

Georgia is easier. I bought a 65 Barracuda from Georgia Mountain cars that had no title. They told me Georgia did not require a title if the car was 50 plus years old to get it registered in your state...just a bill of sale. Illinois is more like Florida. I had to have a live ink signature from the seller or the broker to get a title in Illinois from a car bought from Georgia with a bill of sale...

Yeah I know that of course, BUT what a lot of people don't know about Georgia is, if you ever register a car without a title in Georgia, you can never get another title again. While Georgia doesn't REQUIRE a title for 85 and older, they WILL issue one all the way back to 1964. Prior to that, not only is a title still not required, but Georgia will NOT even issue one. I've never cared what the requirements were. I always want a title if at all possible.

Yes sir that's what Georgia Mountain cars told me as well. I thought that was odd I could use their bill of sale with a live ink signature to get it titled in Illinois but Georgia Mountain cars even being a dealer could not get a reissued title.

I got ahold of this guy last night on the Barracuda. 3 hours away. Wouldn't hold it for me . Told him I would be there by noon with cash. He said to come tonight and spend the night in his yard be the first one in line today ! :icon_fU::thankyou:

Guy said he has 2 other guys interested in it . Had 52×× hits on his Facebook add. .
Probably cause I posted it here .LOL

Maybe someone will get a nice projectcar.

I've been here before. Pics of car are 10 years old of when the owner bought it. Let's it sit and rot for years then tries to sell it with old pictures. I show up and the car is a rotbox. Day wasted.

Might be kind of interesting to have a buddy call him up in a day or so....

The Red Barracuda appears to still be for sale on Facebook. . I would have gone bought it if he didn't BS me.
I’m sad, sorry, and kinda “in your face, seller!” happy all at the same time here.

Appreciate the update, and sorry it didn’t work out for you. Sometimes things just aren’t meant to happen.

Well I see both those Plymouths sold. Luckily. Now I don't have to go get em when I get back home !
