Hello, All- Came back from a drive and my top would not raise. It worked fine an hour earlier. Lack of motor noise told me it was electrical. As I had rebuilt the motor a few months back, I suspected the switch. I removed the switch, cleaned the contacts and it worked again. But, I don't really think that was the cause(I've seen worse connections work). Anyone else have experience with such a sudden failure? The wiring diagram in the FSM shows there is a circuit breaker, but does not detail where that lives-or what would trip it. I read on another post later switches had the circuit breaker on the switch, but mine does not. My switch is a chrome knob that hangs below the dash which you rotate to the left or right to raise or lower the top.
Thank you for any help you can offer.
