64 dart headers

I have a 64 dart installing 496 rb stroker.Has anbody used hedman 75160 fenderwell headers in a early a body.Will take out hole inner fender and lower shock tower.Then add in down tube from firewall to frame horns.How is tire clearance ?

I put a 496 B1BS motor in a 64 Bcuda. You dont need to take out the whole fenderwell, just cut out for the headers. I cut a V out of each side of the pass shock tower and tipped it out about an inch to allow the headers to fit, and welded it up. I had trouble with the centerlink/oilpan on the pass side also. You will also have to do some work to make room for the header at the bottom of the firewall on both sides, I think. It was 20yrs ago.
