Been on the hunt for something to learn on since I turned 40. Working out of an an apartment parking spot and a shared garage with a 15 year old stranger living in it (duct tape down the middle like a sitcom). Located in Ventura but my heads in the clouds.

Found myself with a 1964 valiant signet 200, push button transmission, 273 V8. It’s gotten some mixed reactions from friends but I smile every time I look at it. My brakes failed the first day I bought it and it’s been trial by “huh, wonder what I should do about that” the last two weeks.

Totally new to it all but happy to be here.

Cool car. Welcome aboard. Here's my 64. Vixen. Daily driver. We drive the wheels off her.

Welcome. First, remove the body before you get in real trouble. LOL Ask questions in the forums, plenty of members to steer you in the right direction

Thanks for the welcome folks! Already learned a lot from the forums, plenty more questions to ask I’m sure.

Hope I get it as drivable as vixen is. Brakes are in progress with some wheel cylinder and spring change outs. The feet dangling in the passenger seat…thought that’s what “A body” meant! Haha
