'64 Valiant tail lights on a '65 Valiant

Has anyone put '64 Valiant tail lights on a '65 Valiant? If so, are there any fit issues or gaps?

The included screenshot is directly out of the official factory interchange manual. According to the manual they are not interchangable. What you are looking at is the tail and back up light assy. 598 is 65 and 600 is 64 original assy part #s are there as well. Could have bought a new one for $11.95

I don't think they are even close-- isn't 64 more or less rectangle shaped unit & the 65's have a rectangle top with a circle bottom? i think 1 lens will work & the bulb but that is it.
the convert I owned-- the 64 I Google-d.

I like the look of the 65 better, I wish I could put them on my 64. I've seen a couple of 64 convertibles converted to barracuda front ends but the back still looks the same.
