I've got a 6453S thermoquad, and I need some help, specifically photos or diagrams of the choke linkage on this carb.
When I rebuilt it, I made the mistake of NOT taking photos of the carb
ops:, and when I put it back together, I messed up with the choke linkage. A friend of mine gave me a 9100 series, and it sure looked like the linkage was as I remembered it on my carb. Not so.
The car runs great when it finally gets started and warms up, but the choke assembly is not working. I've got a factory service manual for a 1973, but the diagrams and photos are not for my series of carb.
If anyone on this board can supply me with the proper diagrams or photos of the 6453S, it would be greatly appreciated.
